Nominations are now open for the 2025 Manitoba Arts Award of Distinction, which recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of a Manitoba artist, Indigenous Knowledge Keeper, or arts/cultural professional working in any artistic discipline.
Help us celebrate and honour the excellence, resourcefulness, and imagination of our Manitoba arts community by submitting a nomination to our Recognize – Prizes program.
About the Award of Distinction
- Prize amount: $30,000
- Who can be nominated? Professional artists, Indigenous Knowledge Keepers, and arts/cultural professionals
- Who can nominate? Individuals, groups, or organizations that have no conflict of interest with the nominee
- Deadline: December 15, 2024
- Previous Award of Distinction recipients include: Jennine Krauchi (2024), Di Brandt (2023), Daina Warren (2022), Alan Greyeyes (2020), and Shawna Dempsey & Lorri Millan (2018).
