Her second collection of poems, Girlwood (Brick Books, 2011), was nominated for the 2012 Aqua Books Lansdowne Prize for Poetry. Jennifer is a faculty member for the 2013 Banff Centre of the Arts Wired Writing Studio, and a poetry editor for the Winnipeg-based literary journal CV2.
Residency project
Jennifer returns to Deep Bay to continue work on her third collection of poetry, The Coma Poems, which she began here last summer. Still’s poems live in the pronged moment of choice where the unconscious meets with the witness, the real with the imagined, the lived with the unlived, the science with the dream. The boreal landscape and the small log studio will once again provide Jennifer with the imaginative lushness and contained privacy to draw out the intimacies of this work.
