Arts Leaders Speaker Series – Jan. 26 with Alexia McKinnon

An invitation to our Arts Leaders Speaker Series and info session on January 26 with Alexia McKinnon.

We’re hosting another virtual speaker series and info session for our new Arts Leader programs!

When: Tuesday, January 26 at 10:30 a.m.
Where: Zoom
ID: 854 7953 1120
Password: 945394

We’ll be joined by arts professional Alexia (Lexi) McKinnon. As Associate Director of the Indigenous Leadership and Manangement program at the Banff Centre of Arts and Creativity, Alexia focuses her time on designing and developing programs to inspire Indigenous leadership. Lexi also sits on The Circle on Philanthropy and the Aboriginal Peoples in Canada Governing Circle, the Energy Futures Lab Advisory Council, the Alpenglow Schools Community Education Society and the Dän Tän Gà Dījäl Steering Committee.

After Lexi’s talk, participants are welcome to ask questions and learn more from our MAC program consultants about MAC’s new Arts Leaders program, designed to support building the capacity for leadership by individuals who identify as Indigenous, Black, and/or People of Colour, offered in partnership with the Winnipeg Foundation.

A recording of the session will be available on our Facebook and YouTube pages afterward. Feel free to send us any questions you have ahead of time by e-mail or by direct message on any of our social media pages.
