Come engage in a consultation to help inform arts organizations on your personal experience with accessibility in the arts in Manitoba. Arts organizations will also be in the room to benefit from this consultation. You’re the experts! We need to hear from you!
In Manitoba, we have a new act: Accessibility for Manitobans Act. All arts organizations must consider how they will address accessibility. Here’s what MAC is doing: MAC’s Accessibility Framework which was devised by MAC’s Accessibility Advisory Council.
Who’s invited:
- Artists with disabilities who wish to heighten awareness on accessibility issues for artists
- Arts organizations who are working to initiate or implement accessibility strategies and solutions.
Available supports:
- ASL interpretation available
- Wheelchair accessible venue
