Community Arts Council Operating Support Program
The Community Arts Councils Operating Support program provides non-profit community organizations outside the City of Winnipeg with annual operating grants. The program supports organizations that develop and coordinate a variety of arts programming open to the public in a range of arts disciplines. The program increases access to local arts programming across the province by encouraging arts skills development, arts presentation opportunities and building community and municipal support for the arts.

Consolidated Arts Program
The Consolidated Arts Program provides non-profit community-based arts organizations with an annual operating grant to support the administration and coordination of a variety of arts programming open to the public in a range of arts disciplines. This includes staging performances/exhibitions of member artists or guest artists and offering arts instruction. This program supports arts skills development, arts presentation, community support for the arts, increased accessibility of arts programs at the community level and potential development of new audiences.

Cultural Operating Grants Program
Cultural Operating Support provides selected Manitoba cultural institutions with financial assistance to enable public access to programs of artistic and cultural innovation and excellence, develop audiences, maintain the province’s capital infrastructure for arts and cultural activity, and foster private support for arts and culture in Manitoba. It is designed to assist the sustainability of arts and cultural institutions that play a significant role in defining, articulating and preserving Manitoba’s unique artistic and cultural identity and heritage.

Major Arts Festivals Operating Support Program
The Major Arts Festival Operating Support Program provides operating grants to non profit arts festivals that employ Manitoba artists, provide opportunities for the public to experience the work of highly accomplished Manitoba artists and contribute to local tourism and economic activity. Festivals can be provincial, national or international in scope, must have budgets in excess of $250,000.00 and must take place over a minimum of three consecutive days.

Urban Art Centres Operating Support Program
The Urban Art Centres Operating Support program provides financial assistance to established community-based not-for-profit arts and cultural organizations delivering arts-based programming in any of the arts disciplines to targeted (underserved or underrepresented) (high-need/high-risk) urban communities in Manitoba that have little or no capacity for revenue generation or direct cost recovery through program delivery.
These organizations offer arts-based programs that: help to nourish personal and social development; contribute to healthy lifestyles in safe environments; and provide opportunities for targeted individuals to be engaged citizens and to play active roles in community revitalization.
