Between 2021 and 2022, the Government of Manitoba invested $12 million to help sustain the arts and cultural sector as it grappled with challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. The $12 million was delivered through two rounds of funding. In the second round of funding, the Manitoba Arts Council distributed $5.4 million in February 2022 through two grants: the Arts and Culture Sustainability Fund (ACSF) for organizations, and the Adapt grant for individuals.
