Feb. 10 – Arts Grants Information Sessions in Flin Flon

Join us for an information session hosted by the Manitoba Arts Council (MAC) in partnership with the Canada Council for the Arts. During these sessions you will learn about funding opportunities available through both organizations.

What to expect:

  • Indigenous Arts Grants – 6:00 to 7:00 PM
    Learn about MAC’s Indigenous 360 programs with Tracey Longbottom and the Canada Council for the Arts’ program Creating Knowing and Sharing: The Arts and Cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples with J.L. Watson.
  • Meet & Greet – 7:00 to 7:45 PM
    An hour of networking with MAC’s Randy Joynt and Tracey Longbottom, the Canada Council for the Arts’ J.L. Watson, Adrian Wortley from Canadian Heritage and other attendees.
  • MAC Grants for Artists, Groups, and Organizations – 7:45 to 8:45 PM
    An overview of all of MAC’s grant programs with MAC’s Randy Joynt.

Who should attend?

Artists, Arts & Cultural professionals, Knowledge Keepers, people involved in arts groups and organizations. Come for one session or attend all three!

These sessions will be in English with some print material available in French, Ojibwe, and Cree.

This is a free event. Refreshments will be served during the Meet and Greet.
