Reporting on your Project

The Manitoba Arts Council promotes, supports and advocates for the arts as essential to the quality of life of all the people of Manitoba. One of the ways we do this is by funding artists and arts organization.

To ensure that we are accountable for the funds awarded, grant recipients are required to submit a final report no later than 18 months after your award letter unless indicated in program guidelines or within six months if you receive a Travel/Professional Development Grant. The submission and acceptance of your final report will allow you to be eligible for other MAC grants. Without a final report on your current grant, you are not eligible for further grants.

Your Final Report must include the following information:

  1. Grant recipient name.
  2. Grant information: Program name and Grant ID.
  3. A maximum 500 word description of the project, its intent and the artistic outcomes. If there have been any changes from the original application, please explain them.
  4. Financial information: original budget with final revenues and expenses.

A final copy of your completed work is not required.

We use report information to evaluate our funding programs, and to confirm the completion of your project. Your personal information is collected and protected under the authority of The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).

If you have questions, or if you do not receive acknowledgement within two weeks of submitting your final report, contact the consultant for your program.
