His real name is Mark Cameron but he’s been known to countless kids and their families at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet as “Mr. Mark,” creator of wild and wonderful dancing music for kids. Armed with a truckload of enthusiasm and a truckload of instruments, his shows are always lively and engaging! Lately, he has starred in a live version of the television show The Toy Castle and has had the honour of hosting the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra’s Sundays with the Family. He has performed at the Winnipeg International Children’s Festival, Winnie the Pooh Friendship Day, Folklorama, the Teddy Bears’ Picnic, Festival du Voyageur, and numerous festivals throughout Manitoba and North Dakota.
A… Sing-a-ma-jig? a… Mop-sha-bop? a Baster, a Bedpan, and Buckets galore! You’ll find these instruments and other surprises in the Mr. Mark show.
All the world’s a drum, and everyone is invited to play, sing, and dance to the beat…even if they don’t think they can.
Dads sing opera in the shower, Moms dance the Limbo, and everyone can laugh along to a fun-filled hour of original songs about the real joys of family life.
So whether he’s singing about the Punch a Buggy game, or dancing around the room stepping on Lego, you’ll leave wigglin’ and gigglin’ and wantin’ more Mr. Mark!
