Professional Development for Artists

The Manitoba Arts Council has been hosting an annual professional development conference for artists who teach, called The Creative Road Conference.  Artists have the opportunity to meet other artists who teach, participate in hands-on workshops, and attend demonstrations, lectures, and panel presentations.  Although originally aimed at artists working in Artists in the Schools and ArtsSmarts, the conference is open to all professional artists who are interested in this exciting field. Artists who work in the ArtsSmarts or Artists in the Schools programs are subsidized by MAC.
