Deep Bay Residency Project

Residency dates: July 25 to August 7

While there, Michelle will work with local naturalists to make audio and visual recordings of the park’s bison herd. Her work will attempt to confront the devastating loss of 20 to 30 million bison in the 20th century, and the surviving bisons’ connection to their ancestors.

Conversation with the Artist

The Deep Bay Cabin

Michelle invites you to join her and a Parks Canada conservation officer at the cabin for a conservation conversation and to listen to her wildlife audio recordings.
