DEEP BAY 2014
Megan has completed her BA in International Development at Canadian Mennonite University and, more recently, her BFA Honours in painting at the University of Manitoba. In September 2012, she was selected to participate in the year-long Foundation Mentorship Program offered by MAWA. Megan is represented by Gurevich Fine Art, at which she had a solo exhibition in September 2013. Megan also teaches at the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s Studio program.
Residency project: As an artist who has mainly worked indoors, Megan is looking forward to painting a series of watercolour and acrylic studies of the natural environment of Riding Mountain National Park. These studies will inform her work, which explores the themes of environment and sustainability.
